Welcome ladies and gentleman to the 2016 6th Annual Dojo Awards live from the Kodak theatre. Last year was the biggest year yet so strap yourself in for an even bigger show.

Riku Rose:
Welcome all. It's been a quiet year for us after the Shenmue III announcement but that hasn't stopped 10 page threads about a screenshot of a shoe.

A big thank you to everyone who voted and everyone who has posted throughout the year. I've not posted much this year myself as I'm not on my laptop as much but still find myself reading threads on my phone since I enjoy the people in this community so much.

Thanks for the votes. Member of the year eh? I admit I didn't vote since I am not around much, an am a bit of a dick really. But I will vote next year. Scouts honour.

Congrats to all the other winners. See Animegamer still gets shat on. Even the threat of death can't chant change that (good old Dojo) and SC keeping up the bants. Should share the award with Mitts. Only 2 around here that have a brain cell set aside for wit and humor of the troll kind. A dying art that needs to be preserved.

Congrats to the winners, nice job Riku! I don't really get how AG keeps winning that award, he seems like an okay dude. Oh well, congrats anyway, I guess. :lol:

Glad south carmain got what he deserved, too!

Any chance for a new category next time? Or one that changes each year? They're pretty solid as they are, but a little change wouldn't hurt I think? : )

Seriously though, all of them are deserved (except one but I'll expound later in the post).

I was a real asshole in 2016. And I've been a big asshole before that, too. I've been disrespectful, opinionated, mouthy. I thought only my opinion mattered. I was completely up my ass and I'm sorry for it, I truly am. I'm trying to get better. In the end, I'm this way online because I'm truly not happy in my life and need a place where I feel important. I'm trying to change and you all are such troopers for managing to deal with me this long.

How can I be biggest bully AND biggest punching bag though? Surely those are contradictions?

you guys may have thought I was a punching bag, but my mouthing off shows otherwise and I spared no quarter of my endless mewling. I was a bully, but I was no punching bag.

And cool move being so honest about yourself. I was kinda like you oftentimes when I first joined, and even much later than that. So you were a good reminder of what not to do anymore, thanks for that. :p
