The Witcher Saga on Netflix

“I’m thrilled that Netflix will be doing an adaptation of my stories, staying true to the source material and the themes that I have spent over thirty years writing,” said Andrzej Sapkowski who will be working as a creative consultant. Tomasz Bagiński, who served as the director for the cinematics in the games will be one of the show's directors as well.

I've liked most netflix originals so far, so I'm pretty positive concerning this.

Nah I had it right the first time lol. Just 2 and 3. The only good thing about the first game was the story. The actual game play is some of the worst in recent memory. You need both story and game play for a game like that to work. A rhythm based combat scheme for something like the Witcher just doesn't work. That's why it was completely scrapped in the sequel. Nothing wrong with just playing it for the story, buts its definitely not the shit with that game play.

Combat wasn't great, but it was serviceable. But it was an RPG, quest quality is crucial, and it was great in that department.

I'm really excited for this , I don't know if they can achieve the quality the third game delivered story telling wise, but at least the source material is great for making a show.

I like the game don't get me wrong, game play just drug it down for me. Had to force myself through it to get the whole story. But the improvements they showed from game to game is more than just about any other company I can think of.
