I remember when I downloaded this back in college. I remember it really screwed up my computer, had to do a whole system restore.

Shenmue Zero screwed with my computer back then too. Not as bad as yours though. And it never loaded once.

Well the good news is that they both function perfectly fine. Neither game was ever completed though.

None of them are actually any good. Although I do maintain that if Shenmue Zero had a few more people working on it and reached actual completion, it wouldn't have been the black mark on the community that everyone sees it as. Also, Shenmue: The Boat was made in RPG Maker, predominantly with default sprites, so it's very dull, although there are about 8-12 rooms to go in. All the combat's turn-based though.
Anyway, they're still an important part of the community's history, so they should be uploaded by 18:00GMT. I'm also gonna dig through my hard drives for ShenSonic too.

If Shenmue: The Boat comes up with an error, you need the RPG Maker RTP. Just google the problem word for word and you'll find a result that should rectify the problem, as it's a pretty common one in the community.
