No. The modelling lacks the genius found the original Shenmue. Modern 3D engines are also producing more 'light', paper-like 3D models. They lack something from the DC magic. I know it ain't happening, but I want Shenmue 3 on the original engine.

and btw, i used cry,source,udk and unity and you know what, they are nearly identical, what makes a good game is a good amount of details, decent size textures and good use of light,
lights and shadows are the key to bring life to a 3d environment
and to sum it up (shenmue 3 = shenmue + dynamic light + water/skin shaders + particle system + zbrush ) <_>
