Does anyone want to start playing Shenmue on Nov. 29, the exact date
when the story begins? You can play it on the same days as Ryo is on
in the game and witness his adventure as he proceeds. Thus, you can
practically live in the Shenmue universe together with Ryo!

Of course, you should wait until Ryo gets up in 4 days after the opening
incident to actually start playing the game. ;)

ill do it next year when im not trying to stay away...damn i wish 4 days after Nov. 29 was Dec. 17...this 'strike' is actually working a lot. Just by listening to my Shenmue Audio playlist i get extreme nostalgia--WHEN ONLY LISTENING TO THE MUSIC, woo hoo!

I'm starting it on Nov. 29th, but i'm not going to play one shenmue day, every day, for me that would just ruin the flow of it. Maybe once i've completed it a few more times i'll try it.

when i do it next year, ill play the one day throughout my day--on weekends--maybe even on lazy weekends go as far as playing the morning in the morning, saving, playing the evening in the evening, saving, and night at night! Players could use Resume saves and play one day throughout a couple saves in a day. If it is a weekday, though, ill just quickly play through one day since i am always busy then...

Nice idea, I reckon I'll do that I'm a couple of Shenmue days away from completing the file I'm on now, but I've been planning to start over with a new one and take a longer time over it.
