I found this poem I made of Shenmue just after it had come out. Man this brings back memories. I posted this here because the lyrics are in relation to Shenmue I. Also, feel free to add any of your own poems, songs, lyrical works etc.
White enchantment, glowing bright.
Still shadows within this barren night.
All is lost, yet all is found.
For, other than the snow falling, there is not a sound.
Late night travels, to city and hike.
Our good friend Ito, riding his bike.
Shenmue trees pale with snow.
Makes for quite an entertaining show.
Nozomi is there, sitting on the bench.
I'm thinking of a Jet cola on which my thirst could quench.
The old lady is left sitting on the broken swing.
Somewhere in the distance, Shen Fa sings.
Mister can you spare some change.
That toy seems to be calling to me, how strange.
Not today my son, I said , while rambling.
I've seemed to have spent it all , on that stupid gambling.
I made my way, to the downtown core.
I wanted to stop by Jupiter's Jackets, my favourite store.
But during my trek, some decisions were made.
For me to go spend some money, in the Yu arcade.
I passed through the sliding doors of light.
And walked towards the darts, with all my might.
I was going to play a game or two.
But then I realized it was past my curfew.
edit** Sorry for not proofreading this poem before hand and misspelling thirst.
