Big Shenmue-Project - WATCH

Hi guys,

i wanna show you firt screens of our project Shenmue - Lost Chapter.

We are a little Designergroup who going do create the lost chapter of shenmue. More information are following soon.

If you got some wishes for the game, please Post. if you got a good idea, so we can put it into the game :-)

that looks AMAZING ... but be careful when using shenmue textures , sega doesn't like it much when you use there textures

I`ve already seen your project, looks also great. I dont know if this is illegal, if you copy the textures py picture (emulator)?

We are using the Gamestudio A7 engine.

Models are getting built by 3d studiomax or milkshape.

what you guys say to ryo?

the scripting is the most important thing for this project, cause its no normal prg or somelike else, you know.

you need scripter, 2d-artist, 3d-artist, storywriter, lead-designer.

im programming and modelling for 4 years.

The head looked a bit funny in the first pics (like it's too long vertically or something) but in the big image it looks really good! Also good idea to use the textures straight from the game... it looks more autentic. Plus its not like Sega can say anything if youre not planning on selling this.

I'm with Mittens on this, i hope it doesn't mess with Shenmue 1.5 (Boat Chapter) since i did have some involvement albeit quite small. Erin and the team are doing a fantastic job with this one.
