The truth about the Timex watch

Postby elbien » Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:29 am

I've been looking for the watch a long time, as many of you have, and the watch that Ryo has is not the Timex T433914E. It says "indiglo alarm" on the metal ring on Ryo's watch.I have found the real model:)

I have the white face model. It's a cheap piece of shit, there are far better watches within it's price range. I did find one being sold though on ebay but got outbid a minute before closing. I wouldn't pay more than 40 bucks for it. It's highly overrated, the alarm selectively works because it has an analog alarm.

It's a good thing it has that analog alarm otherwise Ryo would've been late for bed every night.

im sorry. I saw that others on this site found the model before me. The model is T43371. I emailed Timex and one of them searched there archives about the shenmuewatch and that it was based on the Timex T43371. I dont think this watch sucks. It get great reviews, (for a cheap watch ofcourse). I also saw the watch on ebay just a week ago but the seller didn't ship to Sweden:( ok peace out... back to shenmue I:)

85,000 WON I think.

So it's about 55€... 70$... Not expensive I think.

The one in the link isn't a Shenmue branded one.
And even if it was 400$ for just something that tells time is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced.
Unless you have way too much extra cash.

had the same 15$ watch for 8 years. It does the job and all it needs to do.

It's the same from Shenmue but it is not the limited edition from the game.
Try to talk to somebody that knows a lot about watches and he will say that Timex is a bullshit :rotflmao:

This watch is not expensive, but it's a precious item for fan collectors and they'll pay 400$ or more.
I would pay for it but just if I would have 4000$ in my account hahaha.

Timex isn't bad if you buy a good one. They make fine watches if you buy the ones that are more expensive than on the swivel box on top of the jewelery cabinet at your local wal mart. There are alot of cheap watches that break out there, but Timex has a good reputation in general. I consider myself a watch aficionado and check out all kinds of watches as a hobby. My favorite brand of watch is Android. They really are creative and do some awesome stuff.

I have a friend that knows a lot about watches. He even knows about the mechanic part of watches and his favorite brand is Seiko.
