This is the jacket I'm making patches for, because the official replica's are so bad. It's just like the original except $7980 cheaper! For anybody looking to buy one, Ryo's is the classic "A-2 Bomber Jacket".
So I really don't understand why manufacturers of replica's have such a problem with the detailing.
I'll give the tiger a miss though. It's kinda cheesy and I want to wear it without people unfamiliar with Shenmue thinking I'm Rocky Balboa.....

Long time no see guys. Hope all of you are well and excited for Shenmue 3

Hope I'm not breaking any forum guidelines here (I'm getting old, I guess).

My original Shenmue Timex watch is looking for a new home. Sadly I need to sell it. So I would be happy to know a true Shenmue Fan will take care of it. Check out the listing here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/322708208048

Only about 200 of these were ever made. Happy Bidding!

No way. Damn, it's a fine piece. The holy grail of Shenmue collectibles. I'd say you will get a lot of offers, so just make sure not to undersell yourself. They usually go for in the region of $800 at the minute.

I thought I would put a brief post here in case anyone is after the Shenmue Art Book - I know Peter has it!

It's up on Ebay this week from Retro Import Gamer, who are based in the UK and are our sponsor for the Phantom River Stone blog.

Also I wrote an overview article about the Art Book:

Indeed I do, and one of my most prized possessions signed by the man himself. Cost me A LOT back a good few years ago, when leftover stock from the Sega store in Akihabara was sold off when it was closed down.

Anyone with a few spare coins should really think about having a go at this if indeed, you consider yourself a Shenmue collector.

Thanks Peter :) Well, I did end up selling the watch but the "nice" buyer decided to ditch me and not pay! So I'm re-listing it as "Buy it Now" on eBay. You can have a look at the listing here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/322796380891

I hope this time it will find a worthy home!

That watch is so damn close to being perfect. Why on Earth did they have "Shenmue" written under "Timex" instead of you know, just Timex only.

I know right, what were they thinking? It's worse than that though - the wording all around the ring on the face is wrong. And printed upside down. Epic fail. The most accurate watch is the original T43371 the developers copied for the game. Although most of these have the wrong writing on that ring too so you have to be careful.
Somebody's selling one on ebay now for £645 with delivery (plus whatever import fees from USA). But they're lying about it being "like new". It's well worn, but with a brand new original strap which they have a stock of. Pathetic.

I just popped in to leave a link to that Shenmue Ltd watch, but the seller beat me to it.

I'm surprised they backed out of the sale when he won the auction at about £400.
Someone paid over £1000 for one recently. It's in this thread somewhere, as people from the dojo were bidding.
I think it went for about $1550 without delivery or import fees. So £382 ($500) seems like a real bargain!

The slight dent on the corner looks easily fixable. I repair SNES/NES boxes all the time.

I'd definitely be interested in buying it if they'd got the wording on the ring correct and if it just had Timex written on it instead of Shenmue. Maybe Timex will release a truly accurate replica for Shenmue III (with the Yu Suzuki logo strap, all the correct text and no date mechanism).

Yeh I'm dreaming. But Shenmue III was just a pipe-dream until recently so...

ETA: There's a F4F Ryo Hazuki Statue on ebay uk for £50.

Just seen a sealed Shenmue LP with the bidding at only $11.50 with a day left, if it's anyone's thing.

Hi all,

I am also selling my Shenmue Timex watch, but for $990. This price will only last a week, after which I will put it back up to $1200. :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/222708330654?s ... 1555.l2649

Still has price tag as well.

I am also selling my other Shenmue merchandise : Caselogic case, notebook, standee, fullsize standee, and the UK GAME store flyer (there were two versions of this, the EB and GAME ones).

I've got a solid feedback record and selling history, so feel free to get in touch for any of these items. Cheers.

Not sure how rare it is, or what it's worth, but I found two of the 1999 E3 Promo Booklets and Mini CDs sealed while I was moving. I listed them both on ebay:

Last chance for this year to get the perfect Shenmue Christmas Gift :)

Auction runs for 10 days with (reasonable) reserve. Hope if it does sell, it'll go to a good home!
