Would co-op play work with the 70 man battle?

Everyone here knows about the separate 70 man battle mode available after you beat the game. Now my question is would a online co-op mode work with the second player controlling Guizhang? I think it can work with some adjustments making the enemy AI a bit more challenging. Thoughts?

It's not even hard you can beat it with your eyes closed. Shenmue should stay single player. Not everything under the sun needs multiplayer,tired of everything being tacked on with co-op and multiplayer. It's not fucking Halo or Left 4 Dead

Of course it would work. They just make it harder and hell with today's consoles they could have more than 70 and have a lot more fighting you at one time.

Yep could be a good way to bring back the shenmue passport with stuff like this, vs fighting and of course forklift racing.

I think it's a good idea, but like my peeps said earlier, it would need some adjustment.

Co-op would work if it was indeed harder, but it would take the person playing Gui-Zhang a bit working out since, he's an NPC.

Well it wouldn't be in the main game but an extra that's unlocked once you finish the game maybe?

Another good idea I just came up with is controlling the people he can fight in Shenmue 2. Like you can play as Rod Stunt. Basically a Shenmue version of Virtua Fighter.

You can play as guizhang and all the main characters in shenmue1,but in shenmue 2 you can only use shenhua

To me its an essential feature if theirs to be any online enhancements to the game past passport inclusion.
