Sorry for the tittle

I've just extracted Nozomi's passport model from the game, using the mt5 model extractor, the model comes subdivided in a ton of pieces, so far I've managed to assembly the main body, but her hair is driving me crazy.








So the cuestion is, Is anyone willing to help me sorting and assembly her hair? If so I'll upload the model.

WOW! Nice one... I always had a soft spot for Nozomi BTW, Is it just me... She seems much younger on those pics than the In Game Model ?

I didn't Know after you mentioned it , I only tried to extract Nozomi's model,and that is what I got,



A dissassbembled model. this is what you are talking about?

Edit, now that you mention, yes there were some UV cordinates errors and she was missing eyeballs, that needed to be corrected manually.

Also I've tried other models and have lot of errors or missing geometry, seems that I was lucky chosing Nozomi in the first place.

As for ingame models... I don't think its worth the time to assemble that amount of objects.

WTF you only have to mount them???? That's awesome!
As far as I know, the mt5 used to extract only head. I don't know if I'm wrong but looking at your results I may have to because you only got this error in one model.

I'll try and get missing parts (hair mainly) using 3D ripper, Shenmue 1 backfaces geometry, except for the hair, I'll give it a try

Fenix, you said the extractor can only extract heads, I just tried to extract some locations, most are broken some are fixable.






Funny, this Shenmue 2 location is extracted from What's Shenmue


This could be ported to an engine to make custom shenmue stories.

WTF are these low poly models (from Shenmue II) I found in "What's Shenmue?" ?





Are they supposed to be ingame goodies? I've never seen them before.

LOL Esppiral. Does that Xiuying remind you the Saturn version???? If she's not similar to Saturn version I think I saw her in beta videos.

About the extractor. I said it used to extract only heads on character models. Actually it works kinda good with maps.

By the way, I asked you in the 1080 thread about Saturn Ryo. Can you extract it? I'd do it by myself but I don't have the plugin.
