Reproduction / Homemade posters - Thoughts?

Hey

I've been trying to get hold of an original SM1 poster but obviously, that's not easy 15 years later. I was hoping in particular to find a poster of the SM1 box art (a few versions seem to exist) but I've not had much luck.

What I want to know is, how does the community feel about reproduction/unofficial posters? Not fan art, using the original artwork. I'm not looking to make them to sell, I'd just love to have a SM poster in my game room and as I can't seem to buy one, I thought maybe I could get one printed.

What do you think? Ok or should I keep looking for an original?

If you have a EBay account and live in the United States it's actually quite easy to get one.

The Shenmue Versus Guide comes with one and a complete copy on EBay can go for less than $30.

I have been searching for this image in high resolution for many years. I Always wanted to get my own print done, but finding it in in such quality as the Shenmue II poster ( The large layered PSD one that's available ) is not easy.

I ran it through a few filters, but for obvious reasons it doesn't exactly do much.
