Favourite Yu Suzuki Game Outside of Shenmue?

I've always been crazy for those rail shooters and Space Harrier is an all time classic that was highly influential.

For me it'd probably have to be OutRun. It's one of my favorite just-relax type of games. Never gets old.

Virtua Fighter 3TB. I know it's different from the original in some way, but who cares? Personally I ain't a big fan of his arcade games. Those days, for me, were all about Sonic games, football games, and PC games.

I play it at least every other day with the Saturn Mission Stick. VF and Out Run are incredible too.

Virtua Fighter 3TB, hands down. Jackie Bryant is the best fighting game character ever made, and he has a fucking sweet jacket in that game.

It certainly was. Me and my brother would co-op the game tons. It was so hard though.

He didn't have much to do with that one tough, aside from being head of department the game was made in.
After Virtua Fighter 3 he was so busy with Shenmue that he probably didn't have much influence on games after.
My faves are VF2 and VF3 in arcades. Unreal looking games, generations ahead of home hardware.

I love so many of them including Outrun and Virtua Cop. If I have to pick one, then Virtua Fighter 4 is the choice for me (though I'm very fond of VF 2 as I played it the most as a kid)

He directed VF4 and Psy-Phi (if anyone was lucky enough to play that one before it got recalled and cancelled) after he was done with Shenmue . Around the same time as directing Shenmue 1, he also directed F355 Challenge [both this and Shenmue came out in the same year!], so he seemed to be capable of juggling multiple projects at once.

Hangon. Got the 3ds port and one day I will have the full cabinet. The hangon theme is actually my ring tone also.

One game I used to spend hours playing with my friend was Virtua Cop 3. I loved that game, with the slow down time pedal and you could shoot incoming bullets just before they hit you. Me and my friend were so good at it at one point, we cleared the whole game with £1 each

As for classic Yu, I love Outrun
