Quintet's Supposed "Development Support" on Shenmue

Noticed on wikipedia, on Quintet's page, that they're listed as doing development support on Shenmue. There's no citation. Has anybody heard anything about this? If this is true, what sort of work did they do? I'm not exactly even sure what development support means.

Can't find any more info, if I was to take a guess it'd be that as the project grew and grew they simply needed more people working on it (apparently was like a meat grinder).
