Shenmue Dojo

I was wondering how many dojo members have used the actual weather option before. I personally have always thought about using it but never did. Probably because I'm so used to the magic weather option. For those that have how does the weather change through the game?

Was it part of Shenmue Passport features? I didn't know this.

It becomes an option on the main menu if you have a completed file on your VMU.

Never used it myself, but I should do at some point just to experience it, even though the default weather system feels so familiar and 'homely' to me. I imagine it'll be pretty freaky considering how quickly time passes in the game.

I used it a couple of times but I don't remember anything particular about it. I don't always have a cleared file on the VMU and it's just more interesting to have a random weather every time.

On one playthrough the weather system produced snow just for the cutscene with the photo of Nozomi.
The snow slowly started to fall when it started and after the photo was taken is disappeared just as slowly.
Truly magic weather.

I used it once and never again.

I like randomness.

I tested the first few days' worth of gameplay. It seemed constantly overcast or raining.
