The system of doing a game set on a city that they can keep building upon every game is stupidly genius.

Even though we'll get Shenmue III and everyone knows that all facts speak against Sega doing something with the Shenmue name I still get a little angry every time one of these games shows up. It's just sad that they can put the money and effort into this but not Shenmue.

Still very far from the atmosphere of the Dreamcast ones. I barely perceive the art direction in these screens. No "smell" like Yu says.

Sadly, there’s no way Sega’s spending any serious $$$ to make Shenmue 1 & 2 look like that.

Graphics-wise, we’ll probably end up with something like RE4 on Gamecube/PS4: a cleaned up, 1080p version with slightly retouched texture work.

If all hell breaks loose, we’ll get dual voice options and a matched Shenmue 3 release date.

(...Of course, I would happily be proven wrong on this one)

Honestly, while a complete remake of Shenmue would be cool, I think a remaster is what the majority of us are after.

That's just stupid SEGA and Toshihiro Nagoshi being an arse. While Yakuza games aren't bad, they are nothing compared to Shenmue.
