Can you pose rigged models in sketchup?. I am currently downloading it now to give it a try. I am tired of using max :D I was looking up some tutorials on rendering with vray and it seems pretty easy to get high quality results.

Edit: WOW I am blown away, vray renders amazingly fast, renders that took 2 hours in 3dsmax can be done in 30 seconds with vray + sketchup. I am in love with this application!

yeah ,it's a great application, and sketchup is really good; for your question ,i use max for posing ,and then i export my scene to SU.

What file type are you exporting it as? I noticed that Sketchup cannot import obj (which sucks) If you are using a .3ds, how are you going about fixing the long texture file names, since .3ds can only hold a certain amount of characters.

i use .3ds , and i got the same problem , so you must rename the mt5 files into 3 digits name like 001 ,002 ....; before converting them, you will have files like 001.obj ,and 001tex0.bmp.

i use filerenamerbasic to rename my files.
