Seconded Ryu.

I swear Wude, your renders are possibly the greatest updates to the Dojo at the minute. Not only do they look unbelievable, but they honestly fill me with excitement of what a redone HD version of Shenmue and Shenmue II could be like. I mean they did it with OOT, so a man can dream (especially taking into account the 16:9 aspect ratio issues discovered in the topic in the Shenmue section) about a totally redone version.

I also think back, regarding this possibility, of what Steve Lycett of Sumo Digital said during the development of Sonic and Sega All Star Racing:

Now that was regarding Shenmue III specifically, but as ive said i honestly feel as hardware and technology within the video gaming world progresses then we will not see a stand alone Shenmue III, but a complete game, simply entitled "Shenmue". The guys at Sumo Digital (hey! SD!!! Coincidence??? lol) are self admitted huge Shenmue fans, and openly stated that Ryo was the first character to be considered for the SASASR game, so its exciting thinking about the possibility that those guys, or some other development company is currently working on an as-of-yet unannounced Shenmue title.

But in the meantime, please keep these coming Wude!!!! =D>

i just saw what they did with zelda, it's really amazing, texture modding can be done in shenmue but with same size textures :|
also unity is a great tool to show the potential of shenmue's models.

Wude, one more request. Can you please render Golden Quater from across the road using LAnDC's hacked save. It would be awesome to get a good view of Golden Quater.

well, i actually avoid doing night scenes in render engines specially exteriors , i prefer unity it gives nice results without light mapping or any other time-consuming tasks, hi-res screenshots can be taken as renders 8)
