Don't be upset, smith. We all appreciate what you've done! The version you've created in the standard for people who don't own the 99 min discs.

I have a question..are the 99 min discs playable on the Dreamcast just like the normal CD-R discs?

Every review of the discs I bought say they work perfectly fine in Dreamcast, normally when a disc player reads data from a CD it checks a 2 digit numerical value to determine the minutes, which would be 99

I'll burn off a few things later to test this using as much space on the disc as possible to confirm it

Also - In reply to smith, I think it's best to scrap anyting not used. If you need a couple extra comps to put to work let me know, I've got 3 that could be put to work, whether it's Win, Lin, or OSX all equipped with some form of developement tools from my programming days

Tried to pick up where I left off on Shenmue 2 disc 2 last night, and come to find out I must have erased my fucking save file on teh VMU.

This really sucks for me as I have never really beaten Shen2 yet. Oh well, fresh start and all, damn so much to go back and redo......

Unfortunately i don't have any lists. I once suggested making such lists, but afaik noone ever started one. I can only identify some of the scenes so i once wrote about the topic. Wish i could say more.

I think most work would be to identify unused scenes, characters, textures, speech and music. I think for disc 1 - without the harbor there's loads to cut out, for disc 2 and 3 it might be a bit tighter.

Well he did state it's about 8 hours per disc, and it would go much faster if we split 50/50... However he did state privacy of tools he was using and it's up to him to trust me with a copy of the tools or not
