They explore dvd approx. 7 years ago.
I'm here less than a year... I was able to 'revisit' some of the modifications from that period, also was able to mod something on my own... there is always something to 'check-out', yet I don't think there are left any other maps to explore...

i see, i guess the only way of knowing if there really is anything hidden is succeeding in extracting directly from the disk :-k

While we discuss unused stuff, remember the picture:

I think the 2 first pics are from ShenHua father's house and third was not from xbox or Dreamcast but some pics of Shenmue 3.

Oh shitttt so Shenmue 3 was actually in development? lol The way they talked about it I always got the impression that they were either getting the story down or "Thinking about" developing it, wow whoever owns that development copy of Shenmue 3 is a don.

as far as I know, originally shenmue 1 was supposed to be what we have as shenmue 1 + 2, just that they ended up expanding the first chapter, and saving the rest for chapter 2.

Since the whole series was planned out to span multiple games, they probably were working on a few chapters past 6 when guilin happens, but then they had to cut them out as they were finishing up shenmue 2 and save it for the sequel.

Though obviously what happened was that the Dreamcast failed and Shenmue 2 sold poorly, so most likely development never got very far on Shenmue 3.

Agreed, I believe the Shenmue Saturn version was meant to encompass both 1+2 which you are referring to. But the Saturn failed as did the Dreamcast as you have rightly stated. It would be crazy to get a hold of that incomplete number 3 and walk around Bailu village.
