New here, need models of Ryo for Garry's Mod

Hello guys, I am making a video to test out some stuff in the new game I downloaded (Garry's Mod), and I was wondering if anybody had an complete zip of a smooth render of Ryo for the latest version of Garry's Mod, with some autorun lua stuff, vtx and all that. I was manually going to convert it, seeming it would be easy, but all of the links to the objs of him are dead and when I saw the file structure of the addons, I knew it would be that hard to do. :oops:

Alright, got everything down to the point where I can render Wude's GTA model (i think that's what it is), in 3DS Max, and I encountered a render problem:

Mk. :) But still, how can I fix the problem that causes my render to be too bright? Should I change cameras or gamma, I can post the .scene if you want to. :?:

No wait, its .max, my bad.

Tried importing this to an SMD using plugins, and got this:

Writing Meshes...
* "Skin_Mesh"
WARNING: Sub-Material of "Multimaterial" is not Standard type. Skipping mesh.

I'm a noob to 3DS Max, and what is this?

Yup. That the low poly Ryo so it's the one I rigged for GTA.

You shouldn't have any problem with the dff scripts. Look at my signature. That's exactly the same model you're using.

Using 3DS Max 9.

Reproduce error:

Get SMP import+export plugin and install them

Install this too

Import DFF basically. dont change settings

Highlight model

Export to SMD and dont click on any options, just click ok

you will get error - WARNING: Sub-Material of "Multimaterial" is not Standard type. Skipping mesh.

Aggh, this will never work. I just wanted to import a model to Garry's Mod, and it's alot tougher than it should seem. :( I'll just PM you, fenix, if that's ok.

They leave the outbox once they've been read, then the message is used to "Sent Messages". Just be patient and wait for him to read it.

Anyway... I imported the model to smd without bug. There's a fucking problem. One only. When I import it, it loses the skeleton and riggin :-k :-k :-k ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Do you remember Mittenz when you asked me to rig the HD Ryo and it was imposible? I don't know why I'm having problems with this. It seems I can only rig with the DFF extension.

But hey. Just one more thing. I don't enjoy Garry's Mod. I'm actually thinking to export that Ryo model to Sonic Generations. But I need a time, a lot of time! It's not like GTA San Andreas where you have 24 bones max to rig. The Sonic Generations models have 104 if I remember well.
