Shenmue 2x Undub problem

The undub works on my Xbox, all characters speak Japanese. But the only thing is whenever I put the original yuan voice clips in the strjap folder, the game freezes on the scene where he first appears with the chainsaw. And the scene where Ren steals the money the characters are mute and their lips aren't moving.

Are the voice clips in the download link for the undub down sampled for Dreamcast? Is there any way I can get working files of the original yuan clips?

I never had a problem with the original Yuan voice.

I believe the readme doesn't include anything either so I want to say that your issue is isolated to some sort of workflow on your xbox.

Questions:
1.Is this an upgraded hard drive?
2.Is this running off of a disc?
3.Are you running this on retail shenmue 2 or on the special 4GB DVD iso?
4.Is your hard drive healthy? Do you notice any other issues with saves or games dissappearing?
5.Is your xbox hard modded with a chip or softmodded?
6.Which dashboard are you using?
