Ok, Re-rigged version almost done.

Now I'll pick animations and modify the HUD and I'll put a download link. Just a few hours.

I need testers with good computers to upload videos and show the mod with good frame rate. :P

Ok, I took me several hours but now Ryo is alpha textured. I don't know why but in the 1st cutscene you'll see him with white hair.

So, now Ryo has a better rigged body. Only shoulders are a little bugged but that's because the bone's position are to thin and Ryo, as a strong man ( :lol: ), he has big and wide shoulders. If I reduce the size, the feets wont touch at the ground. I made it balanced. As much as I could. But anyway, now he does not have that ugly chest and long legs when he's running.

Now I only need to select some animations like delete the spindash and jumps and change the energy or sonic boom color textures (I'll pick a green one as Shenmue Online intro or turbo wave in All stars Racing), make some colors for the HUD (also green) and done.

Ah, almost forgot to tell you something. I have a very very very good idea to make Ryo in the SUPER FORM. I only wanna say that he wont change to blonde hair or red eyes, lol. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Here we go!

All is "finished". I mean, I made the HUD, colors and picked the numbers from the game NIGHTS for the HUD. Just to make it different. Take a look:

The model is far from perfect but in my opinion that's not bad at all. I think I can make a better rigging... Just in case I can find a way to move the bones to adapt them to Ryo's model. If I can realize that, the model will be A LOT better than this one. Sorry again for the poor frame rate in the video.

Anyway, here's the download link. To play with it, download the program SONICGMI, create a folder in main game's directory, name it as "mod" and paste Ryo's file inside. Launch SonicGMI and mark the mod you want. Then press "save and play".

And last thing. This mod is not tested with Super Sonic. I haven't made his Super Form yet. Just made a copy/paste model. I'll change this in a few days.

No. Imposible. It's only for PC.

I don't think you can mod the game like this in consoles.

What's a CFW?

I dont see why not.
I have access to the individual files since my console is hacked.
I run the game off of the harddrive.

By CFW I mean custom firmware. Its a hacked system version for the PS3 that lets me run homebrew and backup games and such.

I think the file structures and formats are the same between the PC and PS3 version so I might be able to port your mod to it.

Ill take a look.

Whaaaaat? I have never decompiled a PS3 iso since everybody used to say it's not posible to mod this kind of things.
Hmmm ok, ok. If you really think you can swap this mod to a PS3 iso I'll be very happy to see it. More people will gain access to the mod.

I finally finished the game to see if Ryo is correct in his super form. It's actually working. Now I'll make a "super Ryo" model, lol. That's the next update.
