I found some 90 (It also says 99?) Minute (800MB?).
Not sure if they'll destroy my DC's laser, should I try them out? I got a second Dreamcast in my closet.

Id take caution.
The only discs I know of that will destroy the laser are the banana digital discs

If you have bought them, pop a disc into ImgBurn without burning anything and tell us the manufacturer before trying it on your Dreamcast, please.

Alright, looks like I've got enough of a reason to try them out. I'll be buying some in a week or two.

I just got them in mail, I popped one into my PC, it says that the space available on it is 96.6Mb. Is this right at all?

EDIT: The CD manufacturer is listed as TDK Corp. the only thing written on the CDs is "90Min"

Heh, didn't knew TDK actually manufactured CD media.

A simple Google search marks that manufacturer as a good quality one, but they stopped making discs at 2006.

I managed to burn Project Justice onto it, it's like 726Mb. I'm overburning the disc when it says that there's only 96Mb available, before I test it, how do I know it's doing any damage to the laser, will it just make weird/more noise than it should?

UPDATE: I tested it, I played for 5 minutes and the DC seemed to be making normal noise and didn't heat up at all.
Project Justice played normally and after checking the back of the CD, these can probably store 800mb or more with an overburn, but probably not 900mb. If anybody knows any way to tell if the CDs are damaging the laser, please let me know.
Other wise these CDs are good.

I'm downloading the 99Min version of Shenmue Undub and I'll really be able to see if it burns at 99Min (Which I doubt).
I'll be posting an update within an hour.

Update: I can't burn it at all since A120 is being a little bitch and I can't run any .BIN conversion programs. Since I'm a bit of a lazy f*ck, I'll keep working on finding the CD's limits tomorrow.

I tried burning a 99Min version of JSR, and it got stuck at 95% during the burning process.
My next post on these CDs will be the last. I'll be trying the failed JSR just in case It might work, and I'll also try to test the 80Min version of Shenmue Undub.
