Shenmue reicast audio keeps breaking up

I was trying to play shenmue on my android but it slows down and the audio keeps breaking up and when the characters talk, it sounds like someone is drowning...how do i get it working better.

I been playing shenmue on the sd card instead of the drive of the android, is why the audio keeps breaking up with gameplay slowing down? btw my android is a huawei ascend.
