High res passport models mod for shenmue ?

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the high resolution models of the passport disk as a mod for shenmue via emulator?

Yes it has been done before but I am not sure how it would work on actual hardware. There is even a better quality jacket mod for the game. Not sure, but if that were done, along with the Coca Cola mod we would have the perfect version of Shenmue NTSC-U.

Passport jacket texture is 128x128 ingame and 512x512 in passport model I think.
