Shenmue Dojo

Well, I figured I can't make videos on my YouTube channel for every little thing that I wan't to say about Shenmue so I took the great example that is Switch's Phantom River Stone and made my own little Shenmue blog!

Yeah I know, name and design are "very" creative but it's just purpouseful. Not much to see on there yet but I'm sure there'll be many thing to post about and lots of content in the near future.

No point in going into any battle against Switch. There is no way I could compete with the constant stream of interesting content delivered on Phantom River Stone. But I'm trying to find unique info and other things about the games to bring forward in this form of presentation.

I always thought it was some sort of Mercedes since I saw a documentary about Japanese mobsters and the bosses all favoured high class Mercedes models. I can't find any exact replica but a few come pretty close in design.

I don't think the Chi You Men have good enough taste to drive a 300D.

Funny thing I saw a Benz like in the first picture in a video just after I finished the blog post and was almost ready to add it in. But then I thought that I wanted to focus more on JDM. I'll consider it again however.

EDIT: I now included this W123 model. I haven't seen one in ages so I forgot that the early european models also had round headlights behind the glass, giving just the right look. Still vote for the Debonair however.

Great research, and it certainly may have inspired how Phantom River Stone was depicted in the game.
