Want to Buy: Shenmue 2 99Min English CD

Good afternoon everyone,

Just a quick introduction, I played and fell in love with Shenmue for the Dreamcast when it launched, bought Shenmue 2 for the XBOX, and also imported the PAL Shenmue 2 + VGA Box to play on my DC a few years ago when it was still going for around $80.

Now, on to my request: can anyone mail me a copy the four 99min Dreamcast English Patched CDs?

I played through the 80min version a few years ago and was blown away. However, I am not the greatest technical person and finding the right burner for being compatible with burning onto 99 minute discs and getting it to work seems very daunting to me. So I was hoping if someone (who has already figured out the whole 99 minute burning thing) could do me the favor of sharing the love. I'd pay for shipping, the cost of the discs, and whatever you'd feel was appropriate for your time to burn it (paypal). Thanks in advance!

However, You might as well buy the game if you can. Even 99 min releases don't live up to playing it legit on GDRoms

I have both the Dreamcast PAL and XBOX versions of the game, I'd just like to play through the 99min English Dreamcast version as well, haha.

By the way I have the ECHELON release that is the "PERFECT SERIES" if that matters.

By the English version, I think he means the 99 min Sm1th release that uses the Xbox audio.

Ah gotcha, I guess not then. Sm1th audio version how does the audio sound?
I remember watching a youtube video and the audio trax sounds off.

I played the first disc of the Dreamcast Shenmue 2 with english patch from SII and I wasn't at all impressed. The quality of the audio was so spotty. Levels were way out of wack. One second its lound then its low, most of the conversations I have with NPC's were silent.

Just enjoy the japanese voices with subs.. its the way the game was meant to be played.

You described the 80min version of the english speech mod.
The 99 min version has everything intact.

I have the hardware to burn the disc's but I don't own any more 99 min cd's.

If you could get me some disc's I would be willing to burn you multiple copies so if one gets scratched or something you have a backup. The problem is that not every burner can handle these disc's and the one I bought specifically for this purpose 2 years ago are discontinued so good luck finding a drive that will burn them.
