Nah. Seems the highest you can earn through work is $60 a time and gambling $50 a time..

Sure i was able to get to $70 on the DC version. Never got it across the room but started to pick it up before the timer ran out getting me the extra $10.

Really? I don't think I tried on the DC but on the Xbox after six crates the work day ended.

Anyone that can do this part (without the quick save technique and without already knowing every QTE input before they happen) is not human, got to be one of the most difficult things (without saving) to do.

^It's cheap shit. Awful game design. I use my guide now and must save. Without the save I would have broke the disc in half and told Yu so eat a bowl of dicks.

Yep. On the DC i got to a point where i could just half hold the Right trigger to make Ryo walk and then i just had to do the QTE's without fail. Later parts involved 4-5 very fast directions followed by another set the other way without rest. Good way to get the heart rate up!

Might have been able to do it on the xbox but it seems to have the odd issue on the 360 with reading what you press.

Planks convo

I think when I first played this part I didn't know about quick save till much later, these were the days internet wasn't so common so no guides to help.

I think I nearly hated Shenmue as a whole just because of this part wanted to throw the game at my friends face but I managed to figure out the saving and I was calm once again. Though even with that still frustrating as fuck.

I was in the middle of that when my friend came round. When i told him i had to keep saving he just laughed......the laugh was more than go when he bought the xbox version a few years later.
