Community Effort: Looking for specific NPC footage (English)

This is for a voice actor who in return will offer us a nice write up and feature on his experiences dubbing Shenmue, including why the voices are as bad as they are. Any help would be appreciated. Rips, YT links, etc.

Gongjue Zhou

Gongjue is obsessed with collecting capsule toys. He is often seen trying them around Worker's Pier, trying to complete the various sets. He is also seen wandering around Wan Chai selling his unwanted figures to the pawnshops. He considers Ryo to be his rival in trying to collect them all.

only one i got a lead on for now, am currently downloading the english speach dc s2 to help out

Matthew Hopkins

Matthew Hopkins is a sailor who "can't go a day without fighting". Once he learns that Ryo is Japanese he looks forward to fighting him, thinking it will be fun.

Are these definitely the right names? Im having trouble even researching almost all of them. Even the Shenmue wiki is saying these are not on there

^ i think yama wants us to put our detective skills to work
if you look at the other npc's that have been named they dont directly tell you there names so something similar must have happened in the past, feels good to have something we dont know about the series

in game detective i guess, if he chose these names they must be findable, for example looking for shops with the same name as the the owners surname checking places like the harbour or larger buisnesses for the chief etc

Miles Prower was working on the complete Shenmue II character list quite a few years back. He's your best bet for help with this.

Oh Jesus. You can take a snapshot of the person then go to them in "SnapShot" of the main menu and their info will be displayed. I didnt know that about Shenmue 2 at all!

i suppose we should devide into 2 teams those who have the xbox version and those who make video's
personally i dont have the xbox version but if anyone posts information im willing to make the video's

Miles Prower was working on the complete Shenmue II character list quite a few years back. He's your best bet for help with this.

His list has been gone for a while and he has not been around. I wish he was, because with over 600 characters it literally is looking for a needle in a haystack. If there was some more information to make it a bit easier, ie location (WanChai, Aberdeen, Guilin) because you can only play certain parts of the game at a time, you know? Im willing to help but i need a little help in return!

edit: also all the characters are in the japanese strategy guide if anyone has it (and can speak japanese )
