Removing "fade to black"

Im just wondering, has anyone here tried to remove the "fade to black" command of the end of fights that have them. I can imagine it would be tough without the actual game engine that they used but im just wondering if anyone has investigated into that particular code.

Im still trying to determine where the code is.

I have a feeling its in the mapinfo file but im not certain.
