How's it going?

Did someone give you a tip off? I am in the middle of the final QA speedrun of Shenmue 2 and hoping this is released tonight!

This is AMAZING. I'm a hardcore completionist when it comes to games and the notebook has always been the one loose end I could never tie up due to the sheer massiveness of collecting every entry without any aid. Thankfully, that is no longer a problem. Thank you so much for putting the time and effort into this, if you've really helped one person, it has been me. THANK YOU.

Thanks for the kind words! Can I just ask your patience for a little while longer? It's currently now with GameFAQ awaiting approval. As soon as they give it the go ahead everything will be updated. Hoping it will be a matter of hours.

Stuck in work for a few hours more, but I have gotten word of 2 revisions to be made:

Firstly thanks to the PM from Sean, the Chawan Sign information for the Dragon Spring in the Dimsum Quarter of Kowloon should say "nothing" beside it, as doing the Chawan Sign results in nothing happening.


In the gambling section for Kowloon in the money information section, there is an issue with getting the ">10F" entry from the Moon Child Building. I will test this again tonight to confirm.

Hmmm it looks as if i may change the name of this to 99.999% complete for now.

I am out of options and certainly convinced that one entry is completely unlockable. Its the "Gambling entry" for the Money Information in Kowloon. The entry itself is "->10F" for the Moon Child Building. The notebook unlocks the "Lucky Hit" 2F, 7F and 10F entries, but i can only get 2F and 7F under the gambling section. Its definitely meant to be there according to the hex dump.

I have asked every stall and shop owner, and every NCP within the Moon Child Building, tried playing the lucky hit board, speaking to the owner about anything..... the damn thing isnt unlocking.

If anyone has any spare time, feel free to help.

Here's some possible targets:
- An antique shop elder (Codename JI1_) talks about Lucky Hits on the 8th and 10th floor.
- The B.C. Military Surplus owner talks about 8th and 10th.
- The owner of Tiger's Eye Military Surplus also talks about these floors.

These are all the guys I can find in disc 3 who have mentions to a "10th floor". That means the rest could be at the same floor as your missing place. Have you tried to just talk to the Lucky Hit owner, not talk about money?

Yea those 8th and 10th floor entries would be for the Thousand White Building gambling locations.

I have talked to every character and NCP in the Moon Child Building, about "gambling" and just by pressing the A button. Plus I have also tried talking to them before playing a game of lucky hit, and also after. Nothing has unlocked the Gambling entry.

It's one entry. 4 characters. I can't believe this is so hidden.

Oks. To finally confirm, the guide is 100% and that the hex dump includes reused lines and that on that page, there is no 10F entry to be unlocked! I will update both documents as soon as I get a few minutes. Now I can sleep soundly lol
