Annoyingly my local store didn't have the Shenmue range in today, but I'll check again at some point.

It was the first time I'd been in a Forbidden Planet since buying the last WCW Magazine fifteen years ago.

I can't say i've ever seen tshirts at my local Forbidden Planet, so might either need a specific store or a bigger one?

Forbidden planet are usually good at getting stuff in store for you, if you ask them what items you want, and tell them that you don't wanna pay £5.50 postage for like just the greeting card or whatever you're after :p, they should order some stock to the store and ring or text you if you leave a number.

I suppose that's great but it's about 15 years late to the party. While I won't be buying anything on this list, I find it odd that Sega would license Shenmue II merchandise like this unless they were planning on rereleasing the series in HD format on current platforms. Without doing so, at least at some point in the near future, it seems that this would be such a niche market to hit.

Don't get me wrong its nice to see some licenced shenmue merchandise but all the items looks so generic :/ They just put the Shenmue 2 dreamcast cover on it and thats it.

All about the slight Shenmue hype and nostalgia, Forbidden Planet is already a niche store but catering for the people who would buy this kind of stuff
