I was a bit disappointed. I am one of those people who think the guy in the red shirt was not very professional, but it has nothing to do with his body language, really. I just didn't feel he tried to cover new ground with those questions. There was a lot of ambiguity in Yu-san's answers, and I felt it was the guy's job to ask specific questions. Like, one thing that keeps bothering me, is what "story-oriented" means. :?: We need a point of reference, and I kept asking how Shenmue 3 compares to the originals in terms of "story-orientedness" at the current funding level, but the question got lost among others. I also didn't feel connected, really. He said - keep the questions coming, but ignored most of them in the chat window. I could clearly see he was reading off his notebook, and the fans were there to remind him of the things he had already planned to ask. Really? :-k

Hope the questions we have get clarified later, and they learn from this experience. [-o<

That was a horrible job done by Awesome Japan. They should be fired immediately.

Technical issues.
Poor attitude. Guy in the red shirt looked like he was on drugs.
Translator didn't take notes while listening.
Questions unprepared and because of that stream ended early.

Just horrible. I'm ashamed by association that these people are handling this project.
So awkward the whole thing. We got some decent info out of it but nothing that couldn't have been done in a simple pre-recorded interview.

I agree the dude wearing the red shirt was a terrible host.
I sense that Yu wanted to punch him a couple times.

We did get a bit more information, but not much. I also agree that it looked very unprofessional. The strange guy just repeated answers, instead of clearing the answers up.

I also don't like it that the rewards in low quantity have been added in the middle of the night in Europe and are all gone now.

That's a really good point about when they added the rewards- if I wanted any of those I'd be super p*ssed right now.

Could've done with being a 24hr notice that they'd be going live at a specific time so people can stay up late.

The questions were good. But Yu Suzuki deserves a much more professional team to handle his Kickstarter than what Awesome Japan provides. If I were him, I'd fire them and try to find a way to bring Fangamer on board (or a similarly professional team). They handled Bloodstained in AAA fashion and look where it got!

Anyway, this stream felt amateurish, and Yu-san and Shenmue 3 (and us fans) deserve much, much better than that.

That being said, the new tiers definitely brought some new life to the campaign. We're already at 37k today, and the day has just started. :)

They need to bring more and more rewards. And sooner rather than later. Heck, they should also do more polls and "contest" type stuff like they did for Bloodstained, stuff like the Sword or Whip thing, or fanart stuff that unlocks elements, etc... Make something to get the fans more active and involved. Not just simply ask them to share news and vids on social media... There are so many ways this campaign could be improved if more thoughts were put into it. But sadly, Fangamer are in way over their head with that Kickstarter. Which is their second gaming kickstarter campaign ever, and the other one simply wasn't near the scope of Shenmue 3. They're completely inexperienced, and it shows in the way they've handled this so far.
