It isn't that related, that much dependent.
Shenmue Gai and the future of Shenmue, that is.
Shenmue Gai is mostly... doing something with the IP, putting the name out there again, for some 'palpable' reason.
Sure, if it was a mega hit it would have helped a lot.
Still, that is not/never was an absolute necessity.
It's all about Yu Suzuki getting back into the biz and finding support within or without Sega to finish the saga.
He's with Premium Agency now. That is a very good thing, trust me.

Don't overthink it.
At this point, it will problably come out of the blue, when we least expect.

Just make sure you have a confortable sofa near you if you are that focused on waiting in line...

Is premium agency a big company that can afford a tripple A title like Shenmue? I really want to see one more Shenmue game to give closure to the story.
