It's ok those were mostly tears of joy. Those words bring back a lot of memories and that was awesomely fitting :)

Did Adam Boyes just come out and say the biggest request he got for PS4 was for another bullshit Zombie game? I have no more hope for the game industry.

How about you let us know what the real responses are. I'm tired of getting bullshitted around and I'm even more tired of the big companies (Sony & MS) name dropping Shenmue for sympathy sales. I think it's time that we really look at Sega and ask them WHY they won't make Shenmue again.

Yeah. That really ticked me off too. Just what we need: more zombies. So as always they want us to send them our list of games we want so they can then throw those away and make their own "better" list of what they think we want. We need to make a tweetathon just to let them know we're not going anywhere and we weren't heard.

I'm with you man.At the end of the day, if you hit up Adam Boyes or Phil Spencer about Shenmue, they're both gonna be like "Ask Sega". I can accept the fact that Sega won't revisit Shenmue again, but I still would like to know the truth. It's time to ask Sega one definitive question.........

I like the idea of #whywontyoumakeShenmue3

We need to stop requesting and start demanding answers.

I'm with you on that. Though I said it before, if Sega will make another Shenmue, THEY will be the ones to tell us, I'd like to know what's on their mind, too. Just like you said: Demand answers.

No Shenmue 3? No Beyond Good and Evil 2?

Nothing to see here (not surprising, of course).

Reading this description of Assassin's Creed had me rolling my eyes:

That being said, Assasin’s Creed Unity really got my attention. The trailer was decent, probably the weakest of the night to be honest, but the game play is what got me. Ubisoft showed off several minutes of actual game play, and I was mesmerized. Not by the game mechanics, because for better or worse, they looked pretty much the same as every other game in the series. What got me was how it looked, and felt. The graphics were incredible, probably the best looking next gen game I’ve yet seen. The detail, the fidelity, it was just so…real. Not only did it look great, but the way the character interacts with the environment. Nothing ever looked like a character model interacting with an object model, everything looked like a person interacting with a thing. I was blown away by the technical prowess on display here, and don’t even get me started on the NPC’s and crowds. They looked like real people living real lives. It was all so organic alive. Wow.

Sound familiar? ](*,)

(Note: I didn't watch the trailer, I don't care about video games at all anymore really and never found Assassin's Creed to look all that appealing, although I've never played any of them. That being said I'm not hating on the series or its fans, I just couldn't help but think of Shenmue when I read that description of what sounds like utter amazement at concepts that Shenmue brought forth 15 years ago)

Yeah, that's true. Am I the only one who becomes kinda angry when something like the above-mentioned gets written? It's like totally ignoring years and decades of games happened and not to forget, Shenmue is what invented and defined detailed, interactive open world gameplay as we know it today. Geez.
