Adam brought up some good points about Shenmue 1 and 2 HD, there's so many trademarks and licenses in those games that they'd have to renew, i'm sure that could be quite costly and difficult, for example Timex, and that backpack company, or even Zippo - I guess they could just convert everything to that knock off lighter brand zuppo haha

Yeah I think knock-off brands are the way to go; retexturing might take some time and money but I'm sure it's less time-consuming than licensing. Though if the brands were to pay to be included again...
