Offsite links to images and websites

Just a small thing, but is it possible to make offsite links open in a new window? Its just a little easier then using "back" and "open link in new window" all the time.

I just click on links with my scroll wheel and they always open in new tabs. Pretty sure it's a default thing too and I didn't set it up myself.
