I agree, and whilst i cant speak for other staff, i always PM the member in question if i ever delete or move a post. Ryudo moved one of mines recently and when i came back on i didnt know where it had gone. Only by flicking through the forums i found where it had been placed.

I feel that there is more to be discussed about notifications of moves/deletions of posts rather than if posts are to be deleted/moved/merged.... Those have always been, and will continue to be part of an internet forum.

I will notify. Tho sometimes I forget.

Hmmmm, i must admit i am a bit undecided about this topic. I mean on the one site it looks nicer to have just one "xxxx series" topic on the forum overview, on the other side these 100+ reply posts are really cluttered in some cases. But I am really unsure if having like 5 different topics about the same game would make it easier. I'd prolly tend to pick the wrong one as i know myself, at least if it's loads of them. At least if they have very similar thread titles i tend to mix it up i guess. Maybe we can do something like only merge threads that have extremely similar titles and leave the others?
