I don't think they'd develope the whole game without even knowing if they can release it. Think about it... that'd be a huge waste of money.

yeah i think it has been planned, although im not sure if development has started. Everyone expected it last E3 and did it come? No. What SOLID evidence have we gained apart from a link on digital rex's website? nothing really. All that I have heard from sega and Yu recently concerning shenmue 3 was "not yet", this implies that they havent started developing it past the planning stage. I believe they have the story, character sketches, locations and scripts; but little else.

Im sorry guys we have to stop kidding ourselves, it will come, just it possibly wont be for a long time. (that means once again no E3 showing)- that surprise game at E3 will be something different, it was last year (outrun2).

i get ur point but that is my opinion. I dont EXPECT to see shenmue 3 at E3 till possibly 2005/2006. I dont really care about E3, all i wont is shenmue 3, or just news.
