Add original high quality versions of the music tracks(which I believe exist for most of the tracks) and it would be perfect. :)

Also, make the nightfall cutscene longer. You can't hear the awesome song enough during the game! :D

Was just playing the uncharted nathan drake collection demo and damn, what a masterpiece, i would die happy if bluepoint could work on a Shenmue HD, if sony actually steps in to help for a hd Shenmue, no doubt they will hire Bluepoint since Sony is hiring them for everything port related nowadays (uncharted and gravity rush)

Bluepoint are absolute masters when it comes to remasters and ports, and the go-to guys for sure. What they managed to do with Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Titanfall for Xbox 360 still amazes me, and to have them remaster Shenmue and Shenmue II would be fantastic.

^ Yeah, especially the MGS ports were so damn clean and fine and fluid and beautiful. Having Bluepoint do Shenmue HD would be an absolute dream.

I prefer BlitWorks as they have already shown their enthusiasm.

The only complaint I have about Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is the lack of Boss Survival mode in Snake Eater. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect.

Good call, dude. Really loved what they did with Spelunky and I'm looking forward to playing Super Meat Boy again on PS4, too. My money is on Bluepoint should Shenmue remasters ever happen, though.

I'll admit when i made this thread i was 100% sure we would get the announcement in no time......what the hell are they waiting for?

At this point i'm not even sure it'll come. :(

You seem to forget, Sega hasn't been considered a company in general, in a long time now. Companies like money, infact they exist to make money, but Sega doesn't like money, nor do they make any attempt at making money.

They bought the best 3rd party publisher/localizer in the industry, and one of the best developers in the industry, yet I don't see any signs at all, of them actually using ATLUS to um I don't know, publish their damn games outside of Japan.

In short, they bought ATLUS, because they felt they haven't burned enough money lately, seeing how they sure as hell aren't using them.

Lol at thinking this is going to happen at all, let alone is "inevitable".

As I probably said already, you do realise this is Sega we're talking about here?

I wouldn't say it's "inevitable" either, but despite this topic's title it isn't really SEGA we are (or should be) talking about here. It's Sony. They might make it happen by making some kind of arrangement, there's definitely a chance for it.

Well when i made the thread in July we were coming from a record KS campaign and 1 month of big exposure.....even a monkey could have done 2+2 = 4 and decided to announce an HD collection that millions would buy only just out of curiosity.

But then again like the poster above said, Sega doesn't like money.

They are probably aware of the KS etc.

And they already showed us some signs :

- Shenmue Badge and Tshirt during TGS 2015
- December's page of Sega's calendar (2016) has Shenmue on it
- Ryo in Project X Zone

If we keep doing our monthly #SaveShenmueHD Campaign, good things will happen, trust me. ;-)
