A bit frustrating since the biggest logo available is 800p but thanks.

You mean the "old" original Shenmue 3 logo?

I'm sure the new logo will eventually come out with a higher resolution.

Ok. I messed up with the logo I've posted before. I'm sorry.
There is a higher version of it. It just depends from where you download it (computer or mobile phone).

This one should be far better (image is 2048x470) and looks better:

I had updated my initial post on last day. The biggest jpg is a bit bigger (not 800p my bad but around 500p):

470p is really fine for me.

I was on vacation when I got this update in my e-mail. It was a really good update and now I have something to look forward too at Gamescom. Perhaps... just perhaps... Sega will pull their head from their rear and announce the Shenmue HD Collection at Gamescom to go with the footage that YsNet will reveal on the third game. One can hope.

I did this very lazy 4K Wallpaper.

As I've no Photoshop, I just placed the pngs on my desktop, hid my icons and took a screenshot but it's not so bad

I hope so it's time! It would make sense also since there was that rumor that the Shenmue HD Collection was going to release in Fall 2017!

This tweet from Cédric Biscay made me think about something, the other day.

https://twitter.com/CedricBiscay/status ... 6163662849

The licensing issues SEGA may have with the HD remasters mean that Ryo may end wearing a "brand free" watch in Shenmue 3, right? Unless of course, the license issues are solved. I also assume that YsNet isn't in charge of those licensing matters but SEGA is. Last but not least, can we assume that if SEGA addresses the licensing issues for Shenmue HD, it will allow YsNet to use those licensed brands in Shenmue 3 as well?

What do think, thoughts? ( )

And, how many discs you reckon guys yu Suzuki will provide the final product packaging? Please reply!

Honestly, that could be one of the announcements if you ask me, Kiske.

It is a stretch, but its possible it was as you speculate, thus one of the reasons for the delay so they could add it into S3.

Assuming the two games are bundled together into a physical format there are a couple ways they could do this. Each Dreamcast GD-ROM disc could hold about 1GB of information. Shenmue 1 was 3 discs plus a 4th for the Passport. Shenmue 2 was 4 discs. That's, at most, 8GB of information for the two games. A single Blu-ray disc for PS4 can hold upwards of 50GB. For PC, the game would be on DVD which can hold roughly 4.7GB-9GB; plenty of space for the games.

If they are bundled together they could put one game on one disc for a two disc collection or put both on a single disc like Capcom did with the Resident Evil Origins Collection. Sadly, knowing Sega, if we do get a Shenmue HD Collection, fans can realistically hope for digital download only as they wouldn't be willing to put anymore money into the project than they would absolutely have too.

Hmm interesting thought, but if I'm honest I don't think SEGA really have any intention to associate or assist with Shenmue III any more than they have to.

Besides all the branding stuff Sega may generate, a Shenmue circuit in Sonic Racing 3 would be fantastic. Yokosuka world on one side, Hong Kong on another side, both separated by a water route with somewhere a Guilin extra place.
