Nope he isn't in it this time.
Hasn't been confirmed either way.
They showed the Roster. They also said how characters on Bikes were removes as it didn't work.
Nope, the full roster isn't revealed yet and won't be until you play the game.

It was shown at TGS and was shown on Go Nintendo,Maybe it was just the Wii U version. Can't find it ATM as it was a few days ago and a few hundred articled buried by now. Still they did confirm they removed Characters on Bikes.

Oh yeah, I knew that ages ago. I'm just hopeful Ryo has made the jump. Not a deal breaker for me, just an additional extra..

Let's not rag on Yu too much guys, eh? He doesn't want to start getting our hopes up, for them to just fall if something doesn't work. Cmon we've all been through that rollercoaster of Shenmue hype.

did falsely get people's hopes up...like last year - on Shenmue 3: "I think SEGA will let me make it".

Oh god, what a royal idea I just got. We will get a new Shenmue, but it will be a kart racer. It will have all the Shenmue characters but will be like Mario Kart.
I could just see Sega doing that.
