Is this for real?! I'm somehow hesitant to get too excited before there is undeniable proof that this isn't just BS. I keep having flashbacks of two years ago when Zhao had everyone convinced that Shenmue III was being released and Hellraiser even posted it as news on the main page.

But, if this is real....

I'm at a loss for words. Hell yes! Fucking overdue.

I'm just worried if they might cut the story short to fit the general console game length... The whole 16 chapters (minus #2) would be a VERY long game... The article mentioned chapter 7-16, which is still quite a major chunk.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be wetting myself.

Edit: Kikizo isn't the kind of site that would post an article written like this based on mere speculation. If they say it's from a reliable source, it most likely is.

He wrote the entire script almost all together--he already gave up directing after Shenmue II, his replacement being VERY capable [Shinkawa] of great replacement work; plsu he is at least making the scenes for Shenmue III musically perfect for us.

I still havent brought myself to read the kikizo article i cant quite belive it.
