One problem with the NPC is the nationality. If Shenmue 3 is going to happen in China, there will be a tiny percentage of foreigners, depending on the city. So most of the NPC are going to be Chinese, right ?

Or else, it is still possible that the "become an NPC" pledge would be limited to a small quota, like 10 pledges max.

(oh, and I chose Ren, and the QTE game. At least, if they plan to modify the gameplay, we could still have the QTE minigame to spend the nostalgia time !)

Ren. One of the best characters in Shenmue 2. Fun to see how he brought so much trouble for Ryo.

Never really played mini-games outside of Lucky Hit, but I voted for billiards because I loved playing it in the Yakuza games..

I would love to know more of Xuiying Hong's backstory so much! She's my all time favourite game character. Judging by this thread though, it doesn't look like she's a front runner in this poll :(

I still hate the idea of fans voicing/playing NPCs since it completely cheapens the game, but TEH FANS HAVE SPOKEN AND ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND NEED TO BE INVOLVED CAUSE THEY PAID MONEY SO THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO INFLUENCE THE GAME ANYWAY THEY WANT!!1@!

The one and only thing I would be ok with is if it's an Easter Egg of some sort.

And I totally voted for Xiuying <3
