Yu Suzuki: Le Maitre de Sega - Book Review

(Chapter 7 and beyond)

Yes, that's normal here in Germany as well. Most small publishers tend to stay away from ebooks for some reason.

Maybe some bastards scanned a (physical) copy of your book and made it into PDF? Must be such a bad feeling. 5 years of work and some assholes are just cashing in at your expense. Feeling sorry for you, dude!

I payed 15 Euros for the shipping to Germany, ordering from Geeks-Line directly. Of course, that's super expensive, but out of personal preference I prefer not to buy stuff on Amazon (in fact I do almost no online shopping at all, because I don't like it). Well, it was worth the price to me. Especially since (I bought merchandise  ) I was super hyped about the book and couldn't wait for release so I didn't wanna wait till November and preordered via Geeks-Line.

I asked my editor if an ebook release was planned, but the answer is "no".

I have no idea of the shipping cost on Amazon or Geeks Line, can someone tell me if they are expensive, stating his country?

(To my surprise, I found typing into Google PDF version of my book on pirate web sites.
They ask your money and you can download all the latest books published.
This is pure scam ! don't put a euro in it : there is absolutely no PDF of my book).

There are PDFs for everything, it's almost automatic (scam robots I suppose) but their contents are indeed blank.

I actually have some points I disagree with you in the book, but the book still speaks for itself. The book deserves the praise and I've learned a lot from the book. Can't wait to hear Amir and other Dojo members' opinions as well, once they have read it.

Now available on Amazon.fr, with shipping it's about £22 to the UK (not available on Amazon.co.uk currently).

Yeah, I just got the book from my letterbox today.

The first thing I found after opening the book is the Shenmue III at E3 2004 thing. Damn the guy is so affirmative, that sounds crazy.

Hello Yokosuka,
Your message made me laugh, but yes indeed I say what I think in a free manner.

(But today, after what has happened in my country, writing about the videogame seems to me ridiculous. I am very sad).

I'm sorry to hear about that Ben. I offer my condolences.

In a world with so much death and suffering the actions of greedy businessmen just seem even thinner, don't they?

Just ordered this off Amazon.co.uk, even cheaper than Amazon.fr and even Geeks-Line at £16.69 (though for some reason it ended up at £15.59 on check out, not complaining though...): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yu-Suzuki-Maitr ... 014UDN7ES/

A lot of French people buy their games in UK for this reason.

Yeah, I remember being shocked at games/DVD prices in France; even back in '08 a 2nd hand DVD would go for 10 euros when you could buy the same DVD new in HMV in the UK for £5.

Book arrived this morning, wasn't expecting it to arrive until Wednesday. Looks to be in good condition, think Hyo Razuki got unlucky with the binding on his copy, will write a review once I've finished reading it.

The book is indeed solid and very sweet. The only drawback is that the spine is inevitably folded after reading.
