I can't believe in less then two months we are gonna see actual movie clips of Shenmue 3! What a good update, wasn't expecting them to reveal that much! They could have not even told us about gamescom until early August. I'm excited about those 'new announcements' but it might just be a storm in a teacup. I'm guessing July will be a quiet month then?

Really hope Shenmue fans will be able to attend Gamescom 2017.

Man, I didn't even think about a July update after this.

I guess that'll be used to solidify where/how they're appearing at the show. Maybe go the extra mile to give backers a chance to meet with Yu.

Yu didn't come back to make a "mediocre" Shenmue follow up.

Can we please do another countdown to E3/twitch/stream kind of thing? This is more exciting then E3 as we know Shenmue 3 is gonna be there for real, there's gonna be actual footage and also new announcements. I used to love getting home from work and going on youtube to see everyone chatting while Shenmue music played. Good times.

Miller isn't a hater, I doubt he has any strong opinions on Shenmue either way. It's just his whole business model is based on clickbait and trying to provoke fans of certain properties.

Fantastic update all around, couldn't be happier.

For one the logo is perfect. Nothing more to add, but yes it's the simple things.

The art continues to amaze, so iconic. How it transitions into actual character models (final build) will be interesting to see.

Gamescom. Yes! Smaller venue, less media pressure, fitting for a title with a budget as such and more to reveal sooner. Let's set the tone for a Shenmue filled end of the year leading into a jam packed 2018. I expect presence at the bigger shows when we have a near final product.
