Is Shenmue your Favorite Game?

Yeah Shenmue is my favorite series. I love a lot of games but nothing is as much fun as Shenmue.The Final Fantasy series is my second favorite.

2)Metal Gear Solid(series)
3)Leagacy Of Kain(series)
4)Virtua Fighter(series)
5)Silent Hill(series)

and while these games are behind shenmue, that doesnt mean that they are FAR behind.

should i get the twin snakes or cancel my reservation for Killer 7?or its a waste and should just get the cheaper presumably better MGS2?

I know this is off the Shenmue subject but Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes is going to have the great gameplay of MGS2 and because the story of MGS1 was better than Mgs2 MGS Twin Snakes is the better choice.

P.S. Raiden Sucks and the story fell apart at the end.

okay, maybe ill just reserve kiler 7 too, haha, and shinji mikami and worrying me about his absolute turnaround and overhaul of RE or RE4, i mean i thought it would just be the controles?i loved umbrella and i wanted to know about that progenitor virus!!!!!!(RE is my fav game, and sometimes shenmue so its a tie...)

Currently the Shenmue series is my favorite series and Shenmue 1 is my favorite game but its sliding out of first place as well as the top 5 really fast,if Shenmue III never sees the light of day then Shenmue will be worth nothing,incomplete series(no matter how great they are beforehand)are garbage.

is it just me or do most people NOT like the gameplay in shenmue that much?

No those people are the same ones that turn around and say VF4 is fun... which makes no sense since Shenmue 2 uses basically the same fighting system.... as far as how you move the character on the field screen it's sort of like Resident Evil... but better because you have more control over where you run... and as far as mini-games go... since FF7 there haven't been games with much mini-games that were detailed... Shenmue 1 and 2 changed that.... the gameplay is solid... more so than Metal Gear Recycled.

But anyhow it's a favorite, not my favorite (as in one)
I play and like other games just as much.

MG Recycled? you mean MGS TS, or there was an actually remake or "recycle of the original MG series(not MGSOLID)

shenmue 2 wins easy,then maybe deus ex.
no other game has made me feel all warm n fuzzy in the way shenmue 1+2 did,it makes me feel magic.

I liked Shenmue 1 and 2 enough to play them both a few times over, and I am looking forward to a sequel, but Shenmue 1 or 2 are not my favourite games.

My favourites would be RE2, Vandal Hearts, Fallout 2, and the Zelda series.
