This isn't that exciting to me. Although we have details which are very very likely to be correct, we don't have anything new or fresh. We haven't yet had anything official, nor seen any pictures or game footage - which is what will truely get me excited. To me this is just reassuring, telling me to hopefully wait for a complete release of the series on a next gen console.
I'm hoping for an Xbox360 release, with chapter 2 included along with enhanced graphics in the Shenmue 1 and 2 parts. When I get told I am getting all that, with some nice trailers and pictures - I will be ecstatic. At the moment I have just been left with more questions.

What IS interesting is the part when they say it would be hard to port the games over to the current gen consoles. What this suggests to me is that the graphics are of a very high quality, worthy of a next gen release.

Also - that website is pretty damn good (gamespot sucks tbh) - Kikizo was the first people to have info on Outrun 2 and were very reliable with that + had frequent updates.
