This interview with Steve Lycett was released about a week ago, and he talks a lot about Ryo being in the game.

I don't understand how they got the Shenmue assets from AM Plus, because the development team of both games was AM2, regardless of where Suzuki was at the time. Unless, at one point a new Shenmue game was in development by AM Plus. Hmm...

AM2/AM plus, maybe he just said the wrong thing or maybe we don't understand the way Sega's devisions are structured. They still didn't show any new footage of Ryo though. Nice to see so many old characters are not forgotten.

I always smile when people talk about our (or "the forums") reaction. It was like OH MY GOD the day it was finally announced. I still have hope for Shenmues future. I said it before and il say it again... Ryo Hazuki in this game can only be good for the series.

I would of thought she's completely gone. If they were able to have her with Ryo in the first place then she would be. DLC should focus on more Sega characters. ToeJam & Earl have been mentioned, and NiGHTS hasn't been confirmed yet..

Ofcourse the game has to sell well first for this to happen :roll:

You can see a hovering battleship, but it's not Skies of Arcadia, it's a Monkey Ball level. Seventeen seconds in though, could that be the Shenmue level? Looks like Dobuita..

Hard to say if it is or what it is, but goods adds, Ulala and Crasy Taxi.
A Skies of Arkadia add, say a level, would be great...
